Fire Safety Education Conducted by Tepa Fire Service at St. Edward Catholic Hospital, Dwinyama

The Tepa Fire Service on 14th October 2025 held a detailed fire safety education session for the staff and clients of St. Edward Catholic Hospital, Dwinyama, located in the Ahafo Ano South East District of the Ashanti Region. The session aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge on fire prevention, detection, and response procedures within the hospital environment.

Led by ADO I Anthony Duah (Ag. Municipal Fire Commander) – Tepa-Ashanti, and his team comprising DO I Cynthia Oppong Kyeremeh, STNO 2 Richard Akalog, and Fire Assistants Shaibu Naziru, Shirley Fordjour, Arthur Theresah, and Bashiru Issah, the officers discussed critical topics such as identifying potential fire hazards, safe evacuation protocols, and the importance of maintaining functional firefighting equipment.

Hospital management expressed appreciation to the Tepa Fire Service for their continued collaboration and support. The exercise forms part of St. Edward Catholic Hospital’s efforts to enhance safety awareness among staff and clients and to build a proactive safety culture within the facility.
